Mountain Equipment Dragonfly 2 man tent

Robust tent that would comfortably sleep two 6ft average sized blokes. As opposed to some so called 2 man tents that we looked at that are obviously meant for a small bloke and a hobbit.
We are not by any means experts, and nor do we claim to be up on the latest technical developments in outdoor apparel and nubbins. We do however like ’stuff’, and during our travels and adventures have used various bits and pieces of kit. This is therefore our place to air our layman’s views and ramblings on what has and hasn’t worked and what we do and don’t like about kit, places, holidays, and whatever else we’d like to have a rant about.

After much debate I ended up going for the Octane 14+, one of Camelbaks ‘multi sport’ models. One of the big attractions were the 2 zipped waist band pockets, a feature I have come to love on my Osprey hiking sack.
